The University of Copenhagen has compiled this Safety Manual for Fieldwork in the Arctic. The aim of the manual is to ensure a common and high level of safety during fieldwork in Arctic areas. Among other things, the manual addresses project manager and participant responsibilities regarding safety as well as any required training/instruction/courses, insurance, and equipment.

All participants going to the ice sheet with Green2Ice are required to have read the general section, as well appendices E, F, L2, O, P, and Q. The relevant pages are:  1-14, 33-39, 49, and 57-59.
